Central Park West

The neighborhood is also home to a number of famous residences such The Dakota, where John Lennon and Yoko Ono lived (the latter still resides there), The San Remo, where U2's Bono, Demi Moore, and Diane Keaton reside, The Beresford, home to Diana Ross and Jerry Seinfeld, and The Majestic, the residence of some of the former heads of the Genovese crime family. In 1957, Vincent Gigante shot Frank Costello in the lobby of The Majestic in a failed assassination attempt.
Additionally, the building located at 55 Central Park West is the infamous "Spook Central" from the movie Ghostbusters. The famed restaurant Tavern on the Green, also featured in the film, is located at 67th Street, just within the grounds of Central Park.
Anointed Manhattan's "sexiest" address by New York Magazine, Central Park West is a fantastic location for those looking to experience life as it really is in the city.
